Our social impact

Actively working to improve the lives of people around the world through the work of FIFA Foundation and our Social Responsibility programmes. FIFA is working with governments, global and regional development agencies, human rights groups, international and local non-profit organisations and former players to promote a fairer, more equal society through football.

Support to refugees

FIFA Foundation strengthens its support to refugees across the world. Each year on 20 June, the global community acknowledges World Refugee Day to recognise people who have been forced to flee their homelands – in search of safety and security elsewhere. In accordance with FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s Vision 2020-23 and FIFA’s flagship campaign Football Unites the World, FIFA Foundation has boosted the use of football for a positive social impact, amongst other things, by strengthening its support to displaced people worldwide.

Bring the moves

According to WHO, 80% of kids are not getting enough exercise. That’s why FIFA, WHO, Ministry of Public Health Qatar and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy partnered together to create #BringTheMoves. Just 60 minutes of exercise a day can lead to a healthier life. So, we created a challenge to get kids from all over the world moving. The challenge invited kids to Be Active, invent new goal celebrations and challenge their favourite players to #BringTheMoves.
